WASHINGTON — Services for Wilbert Wade, 77, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at Natchez Rehab and Healthcare, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Washington with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

A Masonic service will be at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a celebration of life service at 6 p.m.

Visitation will continue Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Wade was born May 9, 1939, in Adams County, the son of Ezekiel Wade and Mammie Butler Wade.

He was a 1959 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School.

Mr. Wade was a retired painter from Bacon Painting. He was also a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Birdie Wade; one son, James M. Williams; one daughter, Angela Felts; four stepchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
