Root for team ACCS tonight

Tonight, something magical is going to happen. It’s almost as if the spookiness of Halloween has come back a few weeks later.
Natchez Bulldogs will bark for a different team.
The Green Wave temporarily becomes a blue and gray tide.
Saints fans become Rebels, if only for a few hours.
The Vikings and the Trojans may also stop fighting historic battles long enough to focus on a few friends.
As the Adams County Christian School Rebels take to the field to face Indianola Academy in the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools’ Class AAA state title game, all of us should root for the Rebels.
Coach David King and his Rebels team hope to earn another state title tonight.
While the team is certainly prepared and hyped up to the nth degree, a little help from friends cannot hurt either.
The team could use the thoughts, prayers and support of all of us.
While our area has a bevy of high school football teams and assorted allegiances, they are all like siblings — at least when not playing one another. We support each other when it matters.
Regardless of the outcome of tonight’s state championship game, the entire ACCS family should be proud of their great year on the football field.
Good luck team ACCS! Natchez-Adams County is in your corner as you enter the ring tonight.
