Tim and Belinda Welch announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Welch to Jake Martin, son of Joey and Kathy Martin, all of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La.

She is the granddaughter of Donis Graves and the late Bo Weatherly and Barbara Breithaupt and the late Darrell Welch, all of Vidalia.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Vick Dallalio, the late Cecil Ledbetter and the late Skip and Wunky Martin, all of Vidalia.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Vidalia.

A reception will immediately follow at the Natchez Community Center.

Family and friends are invited.
