FAYETTE — Services for Richard Maurice Smith, 41, of Fayette, who died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be noon Wednesday at East Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. James Wells officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel and 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Mr. Smith was born Feb. 19, 1975, in Vicksburg, the son of Bill and Lauretta Franklin Smith.
