NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Sandra Lee Detjens Garrison, 72, of Natchez, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Promise Rehabilitation Hospital in Vidalia, will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church Stratton Chapel, 405 State St., in Natchez.
Sandra Lee Detjens Garrison was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Claus and Enid Detjens.
Sandra spent the majority of her working career as a drug and alcohol abuse counselor in Dallas and for the past seven years as a docent for Rosalie and Longwood antebellum homes in Natchez.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal Jean Hultberg, and her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Robbie Hultberg of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Patrick Garrison of Dallas; three grandchildren, Brandi, Wesley and Calley; two great grandchildren: Kylie and Zayden, all of Colorado; one sister, Shirley Greene and husband, Robert, of Natchez; one brother, Russell Detjens of Blair, Neb.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.
