NATCHEZ — Services for Carl Theodore Minor, 71, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Minor was born Nov. 25, 1945, in Richmond, Calif., the son of the Rev. Elijah Minor and Bessie Minor.
He was a member of Poplar Hill Hunting Club.
Mr. Minor was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret Ann Stepney Minor; and one brother, the Rev. Robert Lee Minor.
Survivors include two daughters, Rukiya Minor and Felicia Minor; one son, Carl T. Minor Jr.; four grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, RoShanda Minor; one son-in-law, Mickey Abston; one sister-in-law, Betty Minor; and a number of other relatives and friends.
