NATCHEZ — Services for Christopher Glenn Franks, 44, of Natchez, who died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Community Chapel Church with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
Mr. Franks was born July 24, 1972, in Natchez, the son of Robert Lee Franks and Janice Blackwell Franks.
He was a member of Community Chapel Church.
Mr. Franks was an avid outdoorsman and a member of South Fork Hunting Club. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Shanterreal Franks; two sons, Christopher Franks and Kevin Franks; his mother and stepfather, Bobby Hayles; one sister, Jennifer Truitt and fiancé, Robb Comer; one brother, Robert Lee Franks Jr. and wife, Michelle; one niece, Krystal Conerly and husband, Adam; two nephews, Jeremy Truitt and wife, Kristen, and Robert Franks III; mother-in-law, Ardis Brice, all of Natchez; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Bielefeld, Eddie Thorpe, Mike Blackwell, Michael Scott, Chad Gamberi and Dewey Blanton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Thompson, Wayne Scott and the men of Community Chapel Church.
