SICILY ISLAND — Services for Wesley Joe Riley Sr., 61, of Sicily Island, who died Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Grace Home in Alexandria, La., will be 10 a.m. Thursday at New Hope Pentecostal Church in Sicily Island with the Rev. Chris Hamilton officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.
Mr. Riley was born Dec. 30, 1955, in Pineville, La., the son of Henry and Ruth Parker Riley.
He was a carpenter.
Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Robertson Riley; five sons, Michael J. Riley, Steven D. Riley and wife, Tammy, all of Sicily Island, Wesley J. Riley Jr. and wife, Amanda, of Harrisonburg, Eric D. Riley and wife, Rainey, of Arp, Texas, and Derrik S. Riley and wife, Savannah, of Gilmer, Texas; two daughters, Stephanie Riley and husband, James Walker, and Jessica Riley and husband, Shannon Knighten; two brothers, Earl Riley and Jimmy Riley and wife, Jane, all of Sicily Island; three sisters, Barbara Mason of Sicily Island, Dorothy Quimby and husband, Aubrey, of Port Vincent, La., and Shelia Meinke and husband, Doug, of Walker, La.; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
