MONROE — Services for Geneva Hickombottom “Tee Tee” Moore, 91, of Monroe, who died Monday, April 3, 2017, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Fleming officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Bude chapel and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Moore was born Nov. 21, 1924, in Franklin County, the daughter of Wilson and Anna Bee Fleming.
She confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she served as church secretary. She loved cooking, baking and gardening.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ross Moore; two daughters, Alease Moore and Myrteel Moore; one sister, Mary Winston Johnson; and one brother, Wilson “Hicks” Hickombottom.
Survivors include one daughter, Lucreasy Moore; nine grandchildren, Rodney Moore, Joshuha Moore, John Moore, Derrick Moore, Deidre Diana Moore, Kevin Moore, Brandy Moore, Latasha Moore and Lolita Moore; a number of nieces and nephews, Dr. Hargie Crenshaw and husband, Jonas, Robert Smith and wife, Annie, Ora Nell McCoy and husband, Willie, William Smith, Otis Moore and wife, Nita, Ronnie Moore, Phyllis Moore, Wanda Hickombottom Rollins, Willie Fleming Jr., Charles Cameron, Beverly Ann Cameron, Keith Cameron, Terri Cameron and Earl Cameron; her New Bethel church family; and a number of other relatives and friends.
