NATCHEZ — Services for Henry Hudson Jr., 63, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Ochsner North Shore Hospital in Slidell, La., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at True Love Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Hudson was born July 15, 1953, in West Helena, Ark., the son of Henry and James Ella Branch Hudson.
He was a retired correctional officer.
Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Hudson.
Survivors include two sons, Corey Hudson and wife, Krystal of Lubbock, Texas, and DeArtist Hudson of Vidalia; two daughters, Natacha H. Fisher and husband, Herbert, of Slidell, La., and Jaqutit Frank and husband, Jerin, of Opelousas, La.; one brother, Albert Johnson of Santa Maria, Calif.; one sister, Marva Hudson and companion, Lee Jackson, of Ventura, Calif.; and 15 grandchildren.
