June 13, 1942 – April 22, 2017

NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Lee Anderson, 74, of Natchez, who died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.  
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson was born June 13, 1942, in Adams County, the son of the Rev. Matthew Anderson Sr. and Agnes Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Katherine A. Morrison and Michael Anderson.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Rosalie Anderson; five children, Brenda Minor and husband, Romallis, Patricia Sessions and husband, Roy, Lionel Anderson and wife, Yokena, Daphne White and Clarence White; two siblings, Matthew Anderson Jr. and wife, Ginetta, and Ruth A. Williams; and a number of other relatives and friends.
