FERRIDAY – Services for Ben “Hound” Henderson, 55, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Henderson was born June 5, 1961, in Ferriday, the son of Louis and Ernestine Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a number of siblings.

Survivors include his father; one son, Derrick Shephard; one daughter, Tiffany Banks; six sisters, Vickey Henderson, Viola Armstrong, Delores Henderson, Linda Henderson, Lawanda Lyles and husband, Earl, all of Ferriday, and Tammy Henderson of Monroe, La.; five brothers, Roy James Sr. and wife, Wanda, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Lionel Mosby of Monroe, Van Henderson and Maury Henderson, both Ferriday, and Carlos Henderson of Alexandria, La.; nine grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
