LORMAN — Services for Bernice “Bunny” Irene Smith Young, 76, of Vicksburg, who died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at her residence, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Waterloo Missionary Baptist Church in Lorman with the Rev. Melvin Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Young was born March 22, 1941, in Lorman, the daughter of Millard Filmore Smith and May Lou Williams Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jessie J. Young Jr.; and two brothers, Howard T. and Clyde B. Smith.

Survivors include one son, Kenna Young and wife, Ramona; one daughter, Adrianne Young; three grandchildren, Joshua Young, Taylor Young and David Young; two brothers, Millard Smith Jr. and Albert Smith; six sisters, Mildred Neal, Cora Carter, Mary Johnson, Grace Smith, Vernice McKnight and Shirley Alexander and husband, Earl; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
