Randy and Christy Woods of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Michelle Woods to Taylor Wayne Moon, son of Tony and Brenda Moon of Ferriday.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is attending Central Louisiana Technical Community College in Ferriday. She is employed by Roux 61 in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Danny and Eva Knapp of Clayton and Margaret Woods and the late Donald Woods of Waterproof.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Vidalia High School, a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez and Central Louisiana Technical Community College-Pharmacy in Ferriday.

He is employed by Reeves Drug Store in Vidalia.

He is the grandson of Sarah Luttrull of Jonesville and the late Perry Luttrull, Jerry Moon of Roxie, the late Sylvia Ellard of Ferriday and the late Shirley Miller of Vidalia.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Frogmore Plantation Church in Ferriday.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at 186 Frogmore Plantation Road.
