NATCHEZ — Services for Louise Freeman Dennis, 63, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in Natchez, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Union Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe W. Pickett officiating.
Burial will follow at the Univesta Baptist Church Cemetery in Doloroso under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Dennis was born July 7, 1953, in Adams County, the daughter of Sam Marion Freeman and Rosie Lee Hayes Freeman.
She received an associate degree from Southern Methodist University in Texas.
Louise was retired from the Concordia Parish School District. She was also a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church and served as a Sunday school teacher and youth director. She enjoyed arts and crafts, home decorating and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Dennis was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, R.L. Dennis; and one sister-in-law, Joyce Dennis.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Dennis; three daughters, Stephanie Rose Williams, Weslynn Marie Williams and companion, Wayne Virgil and Krystal Morgan; one sister, Thelma Freeman and husband, Sammie Lee; five grandchildren, JaColby Williams, Ethan Williams, Kierra Fort, Latrell Fort and Cameron Morgan; mother-in-law, Betty Dennis; two brothers-in-law, Edwin Dennis and Lee Dennis; and a number of other relatives and friends.
