NATCHEZ — The FOR Natchez team will present a “concept plan” for its downtown revitalization project this evening at the Natchez Convention Center.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.
The plan, FOR Natchez team members have said, will incorporate the ideas and feedback given at the public workshop held Thursday, when approximately 175 residents gathered at the convention center to give their input.
The concept plan, ideally, should represent Natchezians’ vision of the future of downtown.
After the presentation of the concept plan, the team will, again, gather feedback from the public.
Thursday evening’s public meeting concludes Phase 2 — out of four total phases — of the downtown revitalization project. Phase 3 involves taking tonight’s feedback to create a detailed plan, and Phase 4 of the project will be to present a final plan to the mayor Darryl Grennell and the Natchez Board of Aldermen.
