Alcorn State University receiver Marquis Warford, right, shows Natchez Falcons player Keldon Jones, 12, how to properly hold a football during a youth practice Wednesday at the multipurpose fields in Natchez. Warford, a rising senior for the Braves, was invited by Falcons head coach Darryl Smith to teach the young players a few things he has learned at ASU. “This is important for me because it is the perfect opportunity to show I can do positive things,” Warford said. “It feels good because I know they look up to me.” The Falcons will travel to a scrimmage game against the Wilkinson County Ravens at 4 p.m. July 29.
