HERMANVILLE — A memorial service for Frank Alan Gunn, 50, who died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hermanville Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Gunn was born Oct. 1, 1966, in Houston, the son of Alexander Franklin and Carol Gunn.

He was a 1985 graduate of Chamberland-Hunt Academy. After attending a number of colleges in Mississippi, he earned a degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Natchez campus.

Alan worked in the hospitality industry before working in the oil and petroleum industry.

Survivors include his parents; one sister, Sandy Gunn Gregors; one nephew, Alexander Householder; one great-nephew, Alexander Kenneth Householder; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the CARA Humane Society, 960 N. Flag Chapel Road, Jackson, MS 39209.
