Denny and Carol Braswell of Clayton announce the engagement of their daughter, Annie Ruth Braswell to Clerel Jay “C.J.” White Jr., son of Jay and Pam White of Dunbarton, La.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Garfield and Henrietta Braswell of Ferriday and Jeanie Cosper and the late Arthur Cosper of Ridgecrest.

The groom-to-be is employed by Budget Build Home Center in Ferriday.

He is the grandson of Bo and Marie White of Dunbarton and Janice Wright and the late James Wright of Ferriday.

The wedding will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the fellowship hall of the church.

Family and friends and invited.
