St. Frederick 24, Sicily Island 22

SICILY ISLAND — The St. Frederick Warriors scored two touchdowns in the third quarter as they rallied from 12 points down to defeat Sicily Island High School 24-22 Friday night and spoil the Tigers’ homecoming game.

St. Frederick (3-3, 2-1) also kept Sicily Island winless in LHSAA District 2-1A. The Tigers can thank a missed 2-point conversion attempt after Tyreke Tollivers’ 70-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter for staying that way.

Sicily Island (2-4, 0-3) plays at Delhi High School at 7 p.m. Friday.
