The Trinity Episcopal Saints moved one step closer to the outright MAIS District 3-A championship with a 42-6 win over the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams Friday night.

Hunter Burgess was the majority of the offense for WCCA (1-8, 1-1) in this game. Burgess had 18 carries for 123 yards and one touchdown. Brayson Boeta completed eight of 20 passes for 101 yards and three interceptions.
The Saints had a 22-0 lead at halftime and increased its lead to 34-0 before the Rams finally got on the scoreboard.
