NATCHEZ – Services for Jessie Beatrice Martin, 91, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Marblestone Missionary Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Martin was born Dec. 27, 1925, in Adams County, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Cornelius and John Henderson.

Survivors include one son, Bennie Henderson; six grandchildren, Jessie Henderson, Patrick “Meek” Allen, Patrice Allen, Bennie Barnes Henderson, Christopher Sherman and Shawanda Ford; an adopted grandson, Kelvin R. Allen; four great-grandchildren, TeKiesha “Jawann” Brady, DeRontay Bell, Rishard Bell and Audreanna Elliott; and a number of nieces, other relatives and friends.
