Block (2-8) at Oberlin (6-4)

JONESVILLE — Block High School enters the LHSAA Class 1A playoffs as the No. 22 seed and is slated to travel to No. 11 Oberlin at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Bears ended their regular season last Thursday with a loss to LaSalle, 34-20.

Oberlin is coming off a loss to Elton, 49-14.

Sicily Island (3-7) at Elton (6-3)

SICILY ISLAND — The Sicily Island High School Tigers were granted the No. 24 seed heading into the LHSAA Class 1A playoffs this week.

The Tigers defeated Tensas High last Friday, 50-6, and are scheduled to travel to Elton at 7 p.m. Friday.

Elton — the No. 9 seed — is coming off a win over Oberlin, 49-14.
