NATCHEZ — Services for Joyce Marie Valasquez, 63, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Woodmen of the World Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Velasquez was born March 21, 1955, in Snyder, Texas, the daughter of James E. Floyd Sr, and Shirley Ann Armstrong.

She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, David Lynn Floyd and James E. Floyd Jr.; and one sister, Marsha Floyd Moore.

Survivors include four daughters, Melissa Washington, Elizabeth Rimer, Tamara Rimer and Shirley Gacta and husband, Ramon; 18 grandchildren, T.J., Joshua, Tierra, Yholanda, Carlos, Milly, J.J., Kristian, Brittany, Audriana, Kiana, Yesenia, Rosario, Ramon III, Aksana, Monica, Marilyn and Guliana; four great-grandchildren, Holden, Mason, King and Kaylie; her mother; two brothers, Scottie Floyd and wife, Tina, and Randy Floyd; three sisters, Beverly Gatlin, Tammie Tatum and Brenda Davis and husband, Robert; and special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be T.J. Washington, Joshua Washington, Carlos Rimer, Ted Devine, Anthony Blake Janes and Adam Craft.

Honorary pallbearers will be J.J. Rimer, Peyton Craft, Scottie Floyd, Danny Craft, Greg Charles and Randy Floyd.
