NATCHEZ — Services for Kerry B. Galmore, 49, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Little Rock, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.   

Burial will be at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Galmore was born May 31, 1968, in New Orleans, the son of Leonard Johnson and Laura Mae Galmore.

He was a graduate of South Natchez High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed singing, music and cooking.

Mr. Galmore was preceded in death by his mother and two aunts, Emma Whirl and Rosalie Jones.

Survivors include a special aunt who raised him, Mamie West; his father; one brother, Leonard Kevin Galmore and wife, Levon; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
