VIDALIA — Services for Patrick Ray Harrigill Sr., 74, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curt Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Harrigill was born April 6, 1943, in Natchez, the son of Alton Edward Harrigill and Verna Mae Davis Harrigill.

He retired from International Paper Company after 29 years of service.

Mr. Harrigill was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard Harrigill Sr. and E. J. Harrigill.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Katherine Harrigill; one son, Patrick Harrigill Jr. and wife, Kristy, of Eunice, La.; two daughters, Michelle Jones and her significant other, Michael Melton, of Natchez, and Teri Troxler of Vidalia; nine grandchildren, Ashley Lee and husband, Jeremy, of Lagrange, Ga., Garrett Harrigill, Bradley Jones, Dylan Troxler and Maci Jones, all of Vidalia, Gracie Harrigill of Natchez,  Haiden Harrigill, Meghan Harrigill, Lauren and Ryan Andrepont, all of Eunice, La.; one great-grandchild, Remi Raye Lee of Lagrange; special niece and cousin, Teresa Godbold, and Leigh Anne Mason; a number of other nieces and nephews; and special friends, Allen and Anna Burchfield and Martha Goodman.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Harrigill, Bradley Jones, Dylan Troxler, Larry Davis, Jeremy Lee, Michael Melton, Bobby Maples Jr. and Allen Burchfield.

The family extends thanks to the staff at Camelia Hospice.

Memorials may be made to Cranfield Baptist Church.
