NATCHEZ — Services for Jimmie Sellars Smith, 75, who died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017 at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Harrigill officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home and noon to service time Wednesday.

Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 17, 1942, in Webbster County, the daughter of James Sellars and Katie Summers Sellars. She was a retired waitress.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harvey Dale Smith.

Survivors include: one son, Keith Smith and wife, Faye Willis Smith of Natchez; one daughter, Wanda Shows and Tommy Baroni of Natchez; grandchildren, Christopher Shows and Casey Shows of Natchez; Dixie Smith and husband Brooks of Denham Springs, Willie Johnson and Lilly Johnson of San Antonio, Texas; great-grandchildren Austin and Wesley Bounds of Angie, La.; one sister, Beulah Holyfield of Winona; a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Tarver, Matthew Tarver, John Hardie, Steven Vanwinkle, Richard Magee, Henry Hedgepeth. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Shows and Jake Tarver.
