LISMORE, La. — Services for Donnie Lamar Wheeler, 56, who died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, were 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Lismore Baptist Church in Lismore, La., with the Rev. Byron Gray officiating.    

Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home in Alexandria, La.

Mr. Wheeler was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Alda Wheeler; two brothers, George Jay Wheeler and Tommie Leonard Wheeler; and nephew, Walter Wess Schneider and

Jeannie Schneider.

Survivors include two brothers, Pete Wheeler and wife, Linda, of Lismore, and Roger Wheeler and wife, Rachel; two sisters, Marilyn Greenwood of Lismore and Dorothy Schneider and husband, Buster, of Froid, Mont.; six nieces, Telina Book, Brandy Spears, Rebecca Girod, Joyce Nesper, Kristen Wheeler and Meghan Wheeler; seven nephews, Wyman Wheeler, John Wheeler, Ryder Wheeler, Hardin Schneider, Billy Schneider, Justin Wheeler and Dustin Wheeler; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers were Trey Book, Wyatt Franks, Walker Wheeler, Dusty Wheeler, T-Wess Warren, John Wheeler, George Book and Ryder Wheeler.

Honorary pallbearer was Holden Wheeler.
