Clark was arrested on Wall Street after his indictment Wednesday, his bond was set at $40,000, and he was released later that day.

In February and March Clark allegedly held two people at gunpoint and burglarized three local businesses.

On February 28, the Kaiser’s Mobile Mart on U.S. 61 North was robbed as a cashier was held at gunpoint.

On March 2, a woman was robbed in Adams County at gunpoint.

On March 18, a Natchez man was also held at gunpoint and robbed.

Two businesses were robbed after hours March 21, but no firearms were reportedly used in the incident.

Davidson’s Package Store and Panda Buffet, just miles from one another, were robbed after business hours. The property stolen from a Panda Buffet storehouse reportedly was worth more than $1,000, but less than $5,000.

Clark was issued indictments in all five incidents, with the next court date set for 9 a.m. Dec. 18.

The indictment calls Clark a habitual offender, citing his previous convictions for theft.

In August 1998, Clark was convicted of grand larceny of an automobile in the Sixth District Circuit Court and was sentenced to five years in prison.

In June 2005, Clark was indicted on a charge of robbery in Adams County and was sentenced to serve 15 years in prison.

The indictments note that Clark served at least one year on each sentence.
