LORMAN — Services for Curtis Wells Sr., 69, of Lorman, who died Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Monday at East Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home-Fayette Branch.

Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home in Fayette and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Mr. Wells was born May 11, 1948, in Harriston, the son of Booker T. Wells Sr. and Elizabeth Combs Wells.

He was retired.

Curtis enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents;

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Kathy M. Wells; two sons, Curtis Wells Jr. and Corey Wells; three daughters, Katrina Collins and husband, Daryl, Elisa Wells and Akelia Stampley; two godsons, Darion Perry and Devin Perry; two brothers, Alphonse Wells and wife, Laverne, and the Rev. Dr. James Wells and wife, Delores; two sisters, Nancy W. Bailey and Mable W. Hudson; nine grandchildren, Myeshia, Maya, Saniyah, Cordeja, Jaden, Cassidy, Caden, Madison and Jaela; mother-in-law, Lula Mae Malone; and other relatives and friends.
