Keith and Sonya Caviness announce the engagement of their daughter, Macy Caviness to Darren Knapp, son of David and Charla Knapp, all of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Copiah Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is employed by Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La.

She is the granddaughter of Leon and Theresa Patten and Elsie Gardner, all of Jonesville.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Copiah Lincoln Community College in Natchez.

He is employed by Miss Lou Electric in Vidalia.

He is the grandson of Charles and Verna Wurster of Vidalia and Jim and Mary Knapp of Ferriday.

The wedding will be 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at The Briars Bed and Breakfast in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
