Six dogs were confiscated from the property, where officers with the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Ferriday and Vidalia police departments, and the CPSO Narcotics Unit found more than 20 grams of methamphetamines, Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia and two guns.

The dogs were found with heavy chains, limited access to food and water and near what is suspected to be a training area.

The animals were confiscated and taken to a secure location where Concordia PAWS representatives are taking care of them.

Green’s charges were updated Wednesday to include three counts of distribution of a schedule II drug.

As of Thursday afternoon, Green was being held without bond in the Concordia Parish Jail

Green has been arrested on both drug and dogfighting charges in the past.

In August 2016, Green was arrested on dogfighting charges and 42 counts of animal cruelty.

Green was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and a schedule II controlled substance in 2011.
