NATCHEZ — Services for Loronzo “Mitch” Michel Floyd, 50, of Hurst, Texas, who died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, in Grand Prairie, Texas, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church, The Vision Center, with the Rev. Edward Brown officiating.   

Burial will follow at Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Floyd was born July 8, 1967, in Natchez, the son of John Jacob and Katie Mae Floyd.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmothers, Clara M. King and Susie M. Earls.

Survivors include his wife, Janet; three daughters, Tiffany Young, Ashley Young and Azenta Williams; one son, Jalen Givens; six grandchildren; one sister, Samantha Floyd Cameron and husband, Dan, of Vidalia; seven brothers, John Floyd Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Bolton, LaSalle Floyd and wife, Brenda, Vincent Floyd and wife, Letitia, Henry Floyd and wife, Bridgette, and Francis Floyd Sr. and wife, Tamatha, all of St. Louis, Mo., Mannix White and wife, Ciji, and Jason White and wife, Jamesha, all of Centreville; five aunts; one uncle; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
