LAKE ST. JOHN — Memorial services for Shandra Carol Maroon, who died peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at her residence in Lake St. John after a hard fought three-year battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving husband and sons, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Lake St. John Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Richardson officiating.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Arthur Payne of Truman, Ark., and Clara Maxine Russel Payne of Athens, Ala.; and one sister, Debra Payne.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Buster Maroon; three sons, James and wife, Dana, and Jason and wife, Heather; Jeffery and wife, Terri; and her eight grandchildren who she dearly loved, Mandy, Christie, Stefanie, Robbie, Camden, Lola, Alissa Grace and Adley.
