GILBERT, La. — Funeral services for Effie Laverne Foy Clark, 61, of Wisner, La., who died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at LSU University Health Conway Hospital in Monroe, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Kendrick Ferry Pentecostal Church in Gilbert, with Danny Davis and A. J. Kimball officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Mrs. Clark was born Nov. 8, 1956, in Monroe, La., the daughter of Samuel and Emma Rushing Foy. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dick Clark, and seven siblings.

Survivors include one sister, Elvie Jean Barlow and husband, Pete, of Gilbert; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
