NATCHEZ — Services for L.V. White, 90, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, in Chicago, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cannonsburg with the Rev. Traci Cusic officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. White was born Feb. 7, 1927, in Stampley, the daughter of Robert Green Sr. and Mary C. Ford Green.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charles Green; three sisters, Girtrude White, Thelma White and Azilee Jones; and three brothers, Robert Green Jr., MacArthur Green and James Green.
Survivors include her husband, L.A. White; one son, Robert “Red” Green and wife, Willie Bee, of Port Gibson; one sister, Aretha Lucas and husband, Cleonard, of Chicago; one brother, Alfred Green of Stampley; one daughter-in-law, Rose Green; seven grandchildren, Catrena, Randall, Felisha and husband, Vincent, Tavilla, LaVonce, Marshea and Robyn; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a special caregiver, Jill Wilson Cheatham; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a special niece, Renee Lucas; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
