NATCHEZ — Services for Darryl “Buck” Johnson, 51, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, in McComb, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Robinson Chapel in Natchez with the Rev. Aaron Westley officiating.      

Burial will follow at Rowan Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Johnson was born March 28, 1966, in California, the son of Jesse Lee Johnson Sr. and Della J. Byrd.

He was preceded in death by one son, Avery Johnson Sr.; his father; one sister, Patricia Johnson; grandparents, Elijah Byrd and Pearlee Byrd and Eddie Johnson and Lou Ella Young; two uncles, James Byrd and Elijah Byrd Jr.; and two aunts, Sherry Byrd and Clara Byrd.

Survivors include two daughters, KaShay Colston and husband, Jarmel, and Darantra Johnson; two sons, Makailuis Johnson and Jaheim Johnson; eight grandchildren, Zion Givens, Davion Franklin, Avery Johnson Jr., Ahmod Franklin, Caleb Franklin, Jarmel Colston Jr., Ariana and Karter Johnson; his mother; one sister, Angela Johnson; four brothers, Jesse L. Johnson Jr. and wife, Tomika, Terry Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson and Eddie Johnson; special companion, Vontina Barfield; two aunts, Pearlie Williams and Ella Edwards; three uncles, Ernest Byrd, Steve Byrd and wife, Regina, and Johnny Byrd and wife, Margaret; four great-aunts; two great-uncles; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
