NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Henry David “Big David” Emfinger Sr., 66, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Emfinger was born Sept. 6, 1951, in Natchez, the son of Rayford Henry Emfinger and Lillie Mae Peavey Emfinger.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Emfinger; one granddaughter, Rebeccca Charrier; and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Pat Emfinger; four sons, David Emfinger and wife, Dora, and Russell Emfinger and wife, Lacey, all of Vidalia, Heath Emfinger and wife, Kim, of Natchez, and Atreyu Taylor Emfinger of Ferriday; two daughters, Mary and husband, Mike, of Florence and Heather and husband, Jessie, of Baton Rouge; 14 grandchildren, Justin Emfinger, Celeste Emfinger, Brandon Wiley, Brandi Self, Jessica Stringer, Christopher Charrier, Kristopher Emfinger, Payton Emfinger, Ethan Emfinger, Landry Merritt, Asher Emfinger, Evan Lafferty, Maizlee Lafferty and Kaius Emfinger; five great-grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
