NATCHEZ — Services for Belva Mizell Goins, of Bogalusa, La., who died Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, in Lufkin, Texas, after a lengthy illness, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Herbert Goins.

They enjoyed spending time at Toledo Bend Reservoir fishing their years away. Prior to that, they lived in Gallatin, Tenn., and in Natchez.

Survivors include two children, Jay Wells and wife, Michelle, of Warner Robins, Ga., and Leisha Wells of Burkeville, Texas; two stepchildren, Brian Goins and wife, Kristy, of Tennessee, and Holly Neely of Natchez; three grandchildren, Nicole Puryear and husband, Louis, and Brittany Wells and fiancé, Dillon Burgin, all of Warner Robins, Ga., and Tyler Neely of Natchez; two great-grandchildren, Jaylynn Puryear and Oliver Burgin of Warner Robins; and one brother, Chess Mizell and wife, Patsy, of Knoxville, Tenn.
