JONESVILLE — Services for Elsie Louise Gardner, 78, who died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Jonesville Church of God with the Rev. Junior Trisler and the Rev. Tim Crooks officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery, in Manifest, La., under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home in Alexandria, La.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Sunday, both at the church.

Ms. Gardner was preceded in death by her parents, Tillman Gardner Sr. and Annie Ethel Herron Gardner; one brother, Junior Gardner; four sisters, Corrine McBroom, Maggie McNeely, Ola King and Naomi “Dootsie” Adams; and one daughter-in-law, Sonya Caviness.

Survivors include one son, Keith Caviness of Vidalia; one grandson, Erik Caviness and wife, Sarah, of Jonesville; one granddaughter, Macy Knapp and husband, Darren, of Vidalia; one great-granddaughter, Saige Caviness of Natchez; one brother, Harold Gardner of Jonesville; and two sisters, Ina Jo Parker of Sicily Island and Judy Beauchamp of Beasley, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie King, Bodie King, Hank Martin, Stanley Gardner, Mark Gardner, Ben Adams, Barney Adams, Shayne Beauchamp, Mike McNeely and Erik Caviness.
