FERRIDAY — Services for Dawayne Erik Coleman, 60, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Ray Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Coleman was born Feb. 13, 1957, in Houston, the son of Thornel and Ruth Dickson Coleman. He was a retired printing operator and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Mays Coleman; two sons, Reginald Bass and wife, Devin, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Erik Coleman of Ferriday; one daughter, Althia “Yetta” Bass of Ferriday; three brothers, Keith Coleman, Russell Coleman and Troi Coleman, all of Houston; two sisters, Gleneit Williams and husband, the Rev. Billy Ray Williams, of Katy, Texas, and Tanya Williams of Houston; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
