WATERPROOF — Services for Annie Lee “Anna Lou” Brown, 76, of Waterproof, who died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Frank Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Brown was born Dec. 26, 1941, in Waterproof, the daughter of William Brown Jr. and Mary Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charlie Brown; and two sisters, Barbara J. Byrd and Viney Reynolds.

Survivors include two sons, Glen Cooper and David Williams Jr. of Waterproof; four daughters, Roxy Cooper and husband, Anthony Burns, of Woodbridge, Va., Wanda M. Brown and husband, Obra Williams, of Marietta, Ga., Kristie Cooper and Mary Nece Brown, both of Waterproof; six sisters, Betty J. Martin of St. Louis, Juanita Reynolds of New Orleans, Frances Bailey and Louise Bethel of Waterproof, Martha Ballard of Los Angeles, and Mary Louise Bethel of Waterproof, Martha Ballard of Los Angeles and Mary Felix of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Eli Reynolds and James Reynolds, both of New Orleans; one aunt, Palestine Lee of Waterproof; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
