David Lofton Jr. and Shannon Lofton, of Natchez, announce the engagement of their daughter, Caitlin Lofton to Riley Carson, son of Ronnie and Teresa Carson of Grenada.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Alcorn State University Radiologic Science and Technology. She is employed by Merit Health Natchez and Claiborne County Medical Center in Port Gibson.

She is the granddaughter of the late Francis and Patsy Case of Natchez and Margaret Lofton and the late David Lofton Sr. of Cleveland, Tenn.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Grenada High School and is employed by Southwest Electric in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Roger and Valerie Strittman of Fayette and Sally Carson and the late Winston Carson of Winona.

The wedding will be 3 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Memorial Park in Natchez.
