Frank Derell Cooks, 42, charged with shoplifting. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

David Paul Ellis, 28, charged with two counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance. Waived preliminary hearing on each count. Case bound over to a grand jury on each count. Bond reduced from $10,000 to $6,000 on each count. Ellis also pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a controlled substance. Sentenced to 90 days with 71 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 19 days in jail.
