NATCHEZ — Services for Grace Dukes “Tot” Smith, 82, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at her residence, will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 27, 1935, in Amite, La., the daughter of Nick DiBuono and Rita Alesci DiBuono.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to cook and feed everyone. Mrs. Smith loved spending time with her family, watching kids play ball, drinking coffee and sitting in her rocking chair. She was employed by Feltus Bros. for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Smith; her parents; three brothers, Sam, Joe and Johnny DiBuono; four sisters, Mary Leddy, Lena Sortina, Katherine Monk and Rosie DiBuono; one son-in-law, Tim Miller; and one great-granddaughter, Jules Thomas.

Survivors include one sibling, Virginia Dallalio and husband, Vick; three daughters, Rhonda Dukes Harveston and husband, Prentiss, Gerri Dukes Perry and husband, Stanley, and Terri Dukes Thomas and husband, Dale; 10 grandchildren, Micah Griffith and wife, Vicki, Jennifer Holder and husband, Chris, Brandy Graham and husband, Heath, Sarah Miller, Hannah Thomas and companion, Jay Sanders, Sam Thomas and wife, Paige, Jamie Perry and husband, Casey, Rachel Bunch and companion, Seth Wooley, Harlie Harveston and Daulton Harveston; 15 great-grandchildren, Gracie, Maddie, Mazie, Baleigh, Tucker, Austin, Presley, Brooks, Ivy, Trippe, Addison, Maddox, Trinity, Sawyer and Bryden; a number of cousins, nieces and nephews; and loving friends, Charlene Burt and Penny Moore.

Pallbearers will be Micah Griffith, Sam Thomas, Daulton Harveston, Jay Sanders, Michael Johnson, Randy Simpson and Sha Wiggins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Perry, Dale Thomas, Prentiss Harveston, Heath Graham, Alan Holland, Joey Martin, Vick Dallalio, Kelly Spears, Will Alexander and Stan Davidson.

The family extends special thanks to Camellia Hospice.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
