NATCHEZ — Services for Sessions Ault Hootsell Jr., 81, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at his residence, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Kenneth Ritter officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.

Mr. Hootsell was born Sept. 29, 1936, in Natchez, the son of Sessions Ault Hootsell Sr. and Martha Bahin Hootsell.

He was an American Impressionist art dealer and was raised in Natchez.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn; three children, Sessions Ault Hootsell III of New Orleans, Christian Allen Hootsell of Frisco, Texas, and Katherine Hootsell Vilchez of San Francisco; four grandchildren, Sessions Ault Hootsell IV, John Christian Hootsell, Mia Hootsell and Edwin Matthews; and one sister, Bahin Leonard of Baton Rouge.

Pallbearers will be friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
