FERRIDAY — Services for William Russell “Billy” Estis, 45, of Houston, who died Thursday, March 8, 2018, at his residence in Florida, will be 2 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
William Russell Estis was born April 7, 1972, in Natchez, the son of Jarrel W. Estis Sr. and Leslie Marie Thompson.
Mr. Estis had numerous achievements of a classified nature during his military service and also as a civilian, including security operations for the U.S. Senate and also at the Pentagon. He enjoyed reading, art, history and cooking.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Estis; two sons, Billy Estis II of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Aaron Estis of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Amber Estis of Tampa, and Kyra Estis of Delray Beach, Fla., his mother of Boerne, Texas; three brothers, Jarrel Wayne Estis Jr. of Houston, Kevin Andrew Estis and wife, Shelia, of Abu Dhabi, Uae, and Donald Patrick Estis and Valerie of Houston; and a number of nieces and nephews.
