NATCHEZ — Services for Larry Douglas Carroll, 67, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, May 2, 2018, will be noon Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Broome officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Larry was born on Dec. 25, 1950, the son of James and Doris Carroll. He served his country for 27 years in the United States Navy, where he proudly held his title of master chief. He later retired from the North Carolina DMV as a driver’s license examiner after 10 years and moved to Natchez to settle into retirement.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include, his wife of 18 years, Louise Freeman Carroll; his children, Dianna, Linda, Christina, Jennifer Keel and husband, Tracy, and Steven Jacob Johnson; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brothers, Pat Carroll and Steve Carroll; his sisters, Nanette Edington and Neese Bridgeford; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins as well as his cherished fur babies, Sasha, Abby, Peaches and Daisy.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Harris, Julius Knotts and Jeno Walker.
