NATCHEZ —Services for Clayton Perry Ferguson, 57, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, May 19, 2018, will be 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Boyd officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Ferguson was born Sept. 14, 1960, in Natchez, the son of William Perry Ferguson and Norma Jean Russell Ferguson.
He loved fishing, hunting, riding his Harley and growing vegetables in his Vidalia garden. He was a loving best friend and father.
He was employed by International Paper Company, in production, for 17 years where he made many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his fiancée, Love Lee Tucker; one son, Landon Russell Ferguson; one uncle, Vestal Ferguson and wife, Gayle; two aunts, Polly Birklebach and husband, John, and Ann Stokes; and one cousin, Jeff Stokes and wife, Diane.
Pallbearers will be Beau Melton, Boyd Melton, Justin Gauthier, James Cobb and Hunter Nations.
The family extends a special thank you to Hazel Banks, Dr. Charles Borum and his staff at Borum Health Clinic and the staff at Compassus Hospice.
