NATCHEZ — Services for Clyde Reed, formerly of Natchez, who died Friday, May 25, 2018, at Bay Breeze Nursing Home in Gulf Breeze, Fla., will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church in Natchez.      

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his parents, Moses Reed and Beatrice Washington; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include one daughter, Alexis Reed-Murray and husband, Michael, of Glenwood, Ill.; two grandchildren; three brothers; seven sisters; and a number of uncles, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
